Jeane Delores Bacon, 77, of Millville, departed this life to be with the Lord on Wednesday November 21, 2012 after a long battle with cancer. Born in Bridgeton, she was the daughter of the late George F. and Elizabeth Bacon (nee Kloepfer). She was a 1953 graduate of Bridgeton High School. Jeane began her working career as a secretary with Rainier's Dairies and continued with Ace Glass Inc. in Vineland until her retirement in 2000. She had also worked for Lapetina Jewelers and The Custom Cake and Lollipop Tree. Jeane was a member of Soroptimist International and involved with the BHS Class of 1953 reunion committee. She was an active member in the Tri-county Lighthouse Baptist Church where she enjoyed singing in the choir, fundraising and serving as church clerk and treasurer of the Ladies Auxiliary.

Her survivors include, sisters, Dorothy Clark (Frank) and Betty McMahan, nieces and nephews, Terri Branch (Jere), Kenneth Gauntt (Kim), Pam Kouhoupt (Jeff), Michael Clark, Tricia Elbeuf, Beth Pimenta (Melbourne), Curt, Karen and Jo-Ann McMahan, uncle, Robert Tuner, 7 great nieces, 5 great nephews and several cousins.

Friends are invited to attend a funeral service on Monday morning November 26th at 11 o'clock at the FREITAG FUNERAL HOME, 137 W. Commerce Street in Bridgeton with Rev. David Boner of the Tri-County Lighthouse Baptist Church officiating. The interment will take place at Laurel Lawn Cemetery in Upper Deerfield Twp. Friends will be received at the funeral home one hour prior to the service.
