Funeral services for Alma J. Daub, 90, a resident of Mt. Laurel Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Clearfield, and formerly of 321 W. 5th Ave., Clearfield, who died Tuesday, March 22, 1994, at the Clearfield Hospital, will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. at The Bennett and Houser Funeral Home Inc., Clearfield.
The Rev. David Y. Norris will officiate.
Interment will be in Crown Crest Memorial Park.
Friends will be received at the funeral home on Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and on Saturday from 10 a.m. until the hour of services.
Born Oct. 4, 1903, in Clearfield, she was the daughter of Ira L. and Abbie Mae (Shaw) Smeal.
She was a homemaker, and was an active member of West Side United Methodist Church, a member of Class 10 of the Sunday School, and had formerly been a teacher and superintendent of the Kindergarten department for 30 years and was a member of the United Methodist Women.
Mrs. Daub is survived by her husband, J. Emery Daub, whom she married on Aug. 3, 1925; four children, Robert E. Daub and Janet Coudriet, both of Clearfield, Harold L. Daub of Bellefonte, and Ruth M. "Peggy" Stewart of Richardson, Texas; nine grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and one brother, Allen L. Smeal of Indiana.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a great- grandson, Derek Daub; brothers Roy and Frederick Smeal; and one sister, Margaret Bargerstock.
The family suggests that contributions be made to West Side United Methodist Church, 317 Nichols St., Clearfield, Pa. 16830.
