Funeral services for Levi Miller, 72, will be conducted at 4 p.m. Sunday in the Westview Baptist Church at Slaton, with the Rev. Bryan Ross, pastor, officiating.
Burial will follow in Englewood Cemetery, Slaton, under the direction of Rix Funeral Home.
Miller, a retired farmer, died in his Slaton home at 1:50 a.m. Friday following a five-month illness. He had lived in Lubbock County since 1937, moving to the area from Noble, Okla.
Survivors include the wife, Ardelia Augusta Menges Miller; a son, carl Edward, 1619 58th St; three daughters, Mrs Fred (Cordie) Walters, Beeville; Mrs. Don (Myrtle) Lavender, Meadow and Mrs. Debs (Mable) Lavender, Woodland, Calif.; a sister, Mrs Sarah Elizabeth Bellah, Llano; nine grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
Ruben Levi P. Miller was born March 29, 1885 in Llano County, Texas. Died March 14, 1958. His parents were Ruben Miller and Elizabeth Chastaine Lockhart.
