Iva Dean Burchett Morrow, 74 of Salisbury, NC passed away on Thursday, Dec. 10, 2009 at Rowan Regional Medical Center, Salisbury. Dean was born April 23, 1933 in Wilkes County the daughter of the late Roby Maxwell and Rhoda Combs Burchett. Dean was educated in the Rowan County Schools, was of the Church of God Faith and had worked as a waitress and cook. She was a former member of the Spencer Moose Lodge and the Ladies Aux. of the Rockwell Amvets.
In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband the late Charles A. Morrow whom died March 5, 1991.
*Iva Dean Burchett married first, Hubert Elijah Weaver April 15, 1950. To this union they have one daughter.
*She married second 20 Apr 1953 in Chester, South Carolina to Bobby Gene Branham and sons were born to this union.

Roby Burchette
CHINA GROVE ~ Roby Maxwell Burchette, 79 of 111 Kethchie Street died at 6 pm Thursday at Rowan Memorial Hospital after a serious illness of two days. He was born in Ashe County to William and Mecrkie Rhodes Burchette. He was a retired farmer Burchette attended China Grove Church of God. Surviving are his wife Mrs. Rhoda Combs Burchette; four daughters, Mrs. Marie Rodgers, Mrs. Ivy Dean Branham and Mrs. Aline Veach all of Rockwell and Mrs. Bernice Walton of Salisbury; three sons Charlie Burchette of China Grove and Fred and Denver Burchette both of Salisbury 32 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren and a sister, Mrs. Neely Handy of Winston Salem. The funeral will be conducted at 2 pm today at Piney Grove Baptist Church in Wilkes County by the Rev. A Whittington and the Rev. Lewis Everett Sparks. Burial will be in the church cemetery. The body was taken home yesterday from Linn Honeycutt Funeral Home.
