Adam Barnhardt, a well respected and friendly old citizen of Madison, died at the residence of his son Jake, in West Madison, yesterday morning at about nine o'clock. the cause of his death was dropsy. His trade was that of a cooper. He was the father of four children: Jack, of this city, Charles, of Elwood, Lizzie, of Jeffersonville, and Kate. The absent ones were sent for to attend the funeral which occurred this evening.
