Mr. James T. Ray died Monday, October 4, 1976, at 2 p.m. at SS. Mary & Elizabeth Hospital. His residence was 7407 Maurer Ln., and he was 62 years old. He was the beloved husband of Mrs. Mary Flaherty Ray; father of Messrs. James T. Jr., John A., Charles K., and Danny Ray, Mrs. Richard (Mary) Wooley, Mrs. Robert (Jo-Nell) Wilbert, Mrs. Francis (Jean) Levy, Mrs. Russell (Barbara) Ziegler, Mrs. George (Rochelle) Mohr, Mrs. Paula Ruth Poole and Mrs. Larry (Janet Marie) Smith; brother of Lawrence and Ben Ray of Louisville, Mrs. Mildred Miller of Louisville, Mrs. Addillion Whelan of Illinois, Sr. Elizabeth Ann of New Mexico, Joe, Louis, and Rhoda Ray, Mrs. Sallie Heavrin and Mrs. Irene Whelan, all of Meade County; also survived by 28 grandchildren. He was the son of the late Lon and Mary Ray of Meade County. Funeral was Wed., Oct. 6th, 10 a.m., at St. Polycarp Church with Interment in St. Andrew Cemetery.
