Naomi Armstrong, age 95, formerly of Fairborn, passed away Sunday December 2, 2012 in the Englewood Hospice House in Port Charlotte, Florida. She was born February 28, 1917 in Bloomington, Indiana, the daughter of the late James H. and Ruth A. (Bridgewater) Adams. Naomi was a teacher's aide with Mary Help of Christians and Black Lane schools in Fairborn. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her loving husband, Raymond. She is survived by four children; six grandchildren; a sister of Indiana; as well as several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends on Monday December 10, 2012 from 12:00 noon until 1:00 P.M. in the Belton-Stroup Funeral Home, 422 E. Dayton-Yellow Springs Rd., Fairborn. A funeral procession will leave the funeral home at 1:00 P.M. en route to Forest Hills Memorial Gardens in Vandalia for a 1:30 P.M. graveside service, Pastor H. Wesley Barnhill officiating. Should friends desire, memorial contributions may be made to Tidewell Hospice of Englewood Garden, 12050 N. Access Rd, Port Charlotte, Florida 33981 in her memory.
