Age 73, of State Rt. 224, Montour Falls, NY, Sunday, Dec. 3, 2000 at Schuyler Hospital SNF. Survived by his wife Joyce and three sons and daughters-in-law, Douglas (Diane) Reynolds, Millport, NY; Dale (Marilyn) Reynolds, Odessa, NY; Dudley (Becky) Reynolds, Odessa, NY; brothers, Layton (Marge) Reynolds, Jr., Odessa, NY; Lynford (Donna) Reynolds, Montour Falls, NY; grandchildren, Michael (Tim) Ray; Stacey (Chris) Moore; Brian, Brett, Benny, Stephanie, Levi, and Marcus Reynolds; special cousin Arma (Armaline) Boda, Endicott, NY and many other nieces, nephews and cousins. Gilbert operated a construction company for many years and still kept active after suffering a stroke over 20 years ago which left him partially paralyzed. He was a veteran of WWII, serving as a SeaBee in the Navy. Funeral services will be held Thursday, at 3:00pm at the Royce-Chedzoy Funeral Home, 212 E. 4th St., Watkins Glen; Rev. Jeanne Bleiler officiating, burial in Highland Cemetery at the familys convenience. Statements of sympathy may be made to the Odessa Fire Co. in his memory.
