From "The Descendants of George Little, who came to Newbury, Massachusetts, in 1640" by George Thomas Little, 1857-1915, published 1882, ID #45, pages 20-21:
Thomas [George, Joseph] born 27 Oct 1711; married 12 Jan 1737-8, Mary Bond of Haverhill, who was born 1 Oct 1721, and died 29 June 1801. He early removed from Newbury to Haverhill, where he was married. In 1746 he and his brother Joseph were appointed by Gov Wentworth to make a plan of Timberlane, now Hampstead. He was a tanner and farmer, and his land, with that of [his brother] Capt George Little, formed the western boundary of Hampstead when its charter was given. His descendants have, as a whole, been noted for their size of body and physical strength, especially those in the line of his son Bond. He died 8 Nov 1766. In his will dated the 5th of the same month he calls himself of Plaistow, and makes bequests to all his surviving children. In it there also occurs this paragraph, "Item - give to my well beloved wife my servant boy Lot."
Children:
* Bond 1739-1740
* Bond 1741-1811
* Elizabeth, Mrs James Clement 1744-1800
* Alice, Mrs John Kent 1746-1816
* Thomas 1749-1814
* Mary, Mrs Parker Dodge born 1752, died aft 1790
* Sarah 1755-1760
Page footnote: This Lot Little was a mulatto. He married 9 March 1788, Susanna Thomas of Hampstead, accompanied Thomas's son Bond to Deering and Sutton NH, settled in the latter place and was engaged in farming. It further lists his six children. [Provided by Find A Grave contributor Anne Shurtleff Stevens]
