Former Broadway Actress. She starred in the musical The Threepeny Opera where she met actor Jerry Orbach and fell in love with him. They married on June 21st 1958 and had 2 sons Tony and Chris Orbach to which Marta gave up her career to raise the kids. She and Orbach divorced in 1975 after 17 years of marriage but still remained good friends until Jerry's death in 2004. She later on volunteered at the Breast Center at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in New York City. Marta Curro died on September 6th 2012 from bladder cancer. She was preceeded in death by her mother Evelyn Curro in 2005, her ex husband Jerry Orbach in 2004, and her ex-mother-in-law Emily Orbach who died on July 28th 2012 just 2 months before Marta. Marta Curro died on September 6th 2012 from cancer. She was survived by her two loving sons Tony Orbach and Chris Orbach and her two grandchildren Peter and Sarah Kate Orbach. She was a loving mother and grandmother who'll be missed dearly.
