The funeral service for Christian Roth of 47 Franklin Street, Kitchener, formerly of Wellesley, who died Thursday, was held Saturday afternoon at Maple View Mennonite Church, Wellesley. Futher Brothers Funeral Home was in charge and burial was in the church cemetery.
Mr. Roth was born in Wellesley Township and was a son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Joseph L. Roth. He was a member of the Maple View Mennonite Church and lived in Wellesley until he moved to Kitchener three years ago. He was 77.
Surviving are two brothers, Benjamin of Wellesley and Samuel of Waterloo, and six sisters, Mrs. Abraham (Mary) Steinman ofRR2, New Hamburg, Mrs. Joseph (Katharine) Leis of Elrose, Sask., Mrs. Emmanuel (Salome) Roth of Baden, Mrs. William (Madeline) Kropf of Kitchener, and Sarah and Edna, both of Waterloo. He was predeceased by one brother and one sister.
