Funeral for Mrs. R.E. Dailey, Sr., 63, 2120 Evalon street, will be conducted Wednesday. Arrangements have not been completed, pending arrival of the body Tuesday night at 11:25, over the Gulf Coast lines. Mrs. Dailey died suddenly at Freeport, Texas, Monday, while visiting at Bernard River camp, with Mr. and Mrs. Ed Hunter. She became ill Sunday, and died shortly after noon Monday. Mrs. Dailey was born in Frankfort, Mich., and had resided much of her life in Louisiana and Texas having made her home in Beaumont for 20 years. She was a member of the First Baptist church here. She is survived by her husband, R.E. Dailey, Sr., and one son, R.E. Jr., of this city. Her body is being accompanied to Beaumont by both husband and son, who were called to bedside Sunday. The body will be taken in charge upon arrival here by Pipkin & Brulin.
