Donna joined the Women's Army Corp from 1945 to 1946 during World War II. In 1948 she married the love of her life, Karl Bracken, they had three children.
After retiring from the U of U Hospital she was able to spend more time doing the things she loved, cooking, sewing, crocheting and genealogy.
Donna is survived by her son, Terry, daughters, Kim B. Hood and Kristine D. Bracken, granddaughters, Chanda Carling and Rochelle Hood, brothers, Dale and Boyd. She is proceeded in death by her husband, Karl, parents, brothers, Arlo, Loy, Verl, Calvin and sister, Karen and granddaughter, Amorette Hood.
Graveside services will be on Thursday, December 13th 2:00 p.m. at Redwood Memorial Mortuary 6500 So. Redwood Rd.
