Michael L. Ellis, age 63, of Anderson and formerly of Elwood, passed away on December 8, 2012, at Community Hospital in Anderson following a courageous 2 year battle with cancer. Mike was born on February 5, 1949, to George and Georgia (Fowler) Ellis in Elwood. He married Barbara J. (VanBuskirk) Ellis on Jan. 15th, 1971. Michael retired from Essex Wire in Elwood and Metro Plastics in Noblesville.
He attended the Living Water Community Church of Anderson.
Mike enjoyed the outdoors where he loved to hunt and fish. He was proud for harvesting his 52nd buck this year.

Daughter - Rachel Ellis of Anderson

Visitation will be held Wednesday, December 12, 2012, from 11:00 am - 1:00 pm at Dunnichay Funeral Home, Elwood.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, December 12, 2012, at 1:00 pm at the Dunnichay Funeral Home, with Tom King officiating.
Burial will take place in the Anderson Memorial Park.
