Mrs. Walker was an employee of Community Memorial Hospital in Grapeland for many years and a member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church in Grapeland.

Preceded in death by parents; husband, of 63 years and 9 months, Eligha Walker Sr.; two daughters, two sons, Rev. Eligha Walker Jr. and Elroy Walker, one grandson, Clarence Walker, one brother, Roger Conner, and one sister, Mildred Tanner.

Survivors include four sons, Rev. George Walker and wife Nancy of Houston, TX, Rev. Billy Walker and wife Annette of Marshall, TX, Deacon Rickey Walker Sr. and wife Marilyn of Grapeland, TX, and Dean Walker and wife Donna of Nacogdoches, TX, one daughter-in-law, Willie Bell Walker of Nacogdoches, TX, one sister-in-law, Betty Walker of San Antonio, TX, eighteen grandchildren; thirty-three great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
