MARY OLEXA
Mary Olexa, 83, of 214 W. Railroad St., Nesquehoning, died Sunday.
Born in Pittsburgh, she was the daughter of the late Matey and Eva (Derkatch) Olexa.
She was a member of St. John Russian Orthodox Church, Nesquehoning.
Before retiring, Miss Olexa was a domestic worker for many years. She attended Adult Day Care in Tamaqua.
Preceding her in death, in addition to her parents, were a son, George P. Olexa; sister, Anna Olexa and brothers, Stephen, Michael, Andrew and John.
Surviving are a brother, Joseph, Nesquehoning; sisters, Helen Mattras, Nesquehoning; Esther Caffrey, New Carrolton, Maine; Margaret Haberchak and Mrs. George (Betty) Wean, both of Whitehall; one graddaughter, nieces and nephews.
