Mrs. Charlotte “Lottie” Scheutle of Beaver, age 57, in failing health for two years following surgery, wife of Joseph T. Scheutle, 57, died at 2:15 a.m. Monday at her residence here. Born in Beaver on Dec 21, 1890, she had lived her entire in this community. She was the daughter of Henry D and Catherine Kuntzman Schrader. Surviving, in addition to her husband, are three daughters: Mrs. Anna Katherine Remy and Mrs. Edna Lansing, both of Beaver, and Mrs. Ruth Voelker, Route 1; three sisters, Mrs. Gladys Bobst of Beaver, Mrs. Sophie Besch of Centerburg, and Mrs. Bessie Balzer of Bourneville; two brothers, Alvin Schrader of Beaver, and Ed Schrader of Columbus; a half sister, Mrs. Mollie Bobst of Beaver, and two half brothers, William Schrader, Charleston, WV, and Gus Schrader of Washington C.H. A son, Frederick, died in 1927. Mrs. Scheutle was a member of the Beaver UB Church and a charter member of its Ladies Aid society.
