"Mrs. Mary E. Fickle Kruse, 91, died July 23, 1977, in Lafayette Care where she was admitted three years ago. She was born in Clinton County and in 1903 she was married to Charles Fickle, who died in 1961. Her second marriage was to August Kruse and he also preceded her in death. Surviving are a son, David P. Fickle of Rockville, MD; and two daughters, Mrs. Ruth Ann Martin of Lafayette, and Dorothy (Mrs. Ray) Loveless of Fort Wayne. Services were held July 26 at Johnson Funeral Home, Mulberry, the Rev. Dr. Joseph G. Wick officiating; internment Providence Cemetery, Mulberry."
