EMPORIA--Odessa May Harriman, 88, Emporia, died Saturday, May 11, 1991, at an Emporia hospital.
She was born Nov.27, 1902, in Champion, Neb., the daughter of William Henry and Alta Inman Yost.
Mrs. Harriman was a member of Grace United Methodist Church, the Rebekah Lodge, the Emporia Memorial Veterans of Foreign Wars World War I Post No. 1111 Auxiliary and Emporia Memorial VFW Post No. 7957 Auxiliary.
She married William A. Harriman June 27, 1921, in Imperial, Neb. He died Jan. 10, 1979. An infant son, Lawrence Harriman, also preceded her in death.
Survivors include two sons, Harvey Harriman, Gunnison, Colo., and Leonard Harriman, Emporia; a daughter, Dema Schmidt, Emporia; a brother, Arby Yost, Imperial, Neb.; a sister, Letha Lockard, St. Francis; nine grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren, and a great-great-grandson.
