Mrs. Mary M. Titus, 72, of 3075 Sunnyside, died in Burlington Memorial hospital at 6 p.m. Monday, May 28.
A native of Burlington, she was born January 16, 1901, the daughter of Fred and Mary Schultz Salome. She was married to Clarence Titus in Burlington on October 1, 1919.
Mrs.. Salome was of the United Methodist faith.
Surviving: The husband; three sons: Edward and Lawrence Titus, both of Sugar Grove, Illinois, and Hubert Titus of Burlington; a brother, Walter Salome, and a sister, Mrs. Clara Smith, both of Burlington; 10 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Funeral: Lunning Chapel at 3:30 p.m. Thursday, Reverend Vernon Sorenson; Memorial Park cemetery.
