Services for Freida Aschbacher Biggs, 92, Farmington, will be held at noon Thursday in Lee and Hill Chapel, Farmington, with Rev. Jack Wheat officiating. Graveside services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday in the Elida Cemetery, Elida, N.M.

She died Tuesday in a nursing home in Bloomfield, N.M.

She was born Feb. 13, 1893 in Ballinger, Texas. She married Clarence Biggs in 1937; he preceded her in death in 1965. The moved to Carlsbad in 1941. She operated a sewing show for a short period of time, then closed it to help her husband in his cabinet shop, until retirement in 1957. She moved to Farmington in 1983. She was a member of the Church of God of Prophecy, Carlsbad.
