Alkia Trfimble Castle, 88, died Saturday, March 22, 1997, at Highlands Regional Medical Center. Mrs. Castle was born December 8, 1908, to the late Albedrt Trimble and Naomi Tackett. She was preceded in death by her husband, John Thurman Castle; and two sons, Thomas and Robert Earl Castle. Surniving are four sons, Ernest Castle of Levelland, Texas; Willis Castle olf Red Bush, William Castle of Hendersonville, Tennessee, and Charles Mickey Phipps of North Carolina; two daughters, Rebecca Fyffe of Fairborn, Ohio, and Judy Ferguson of Red Bush; one brother, James Trimble of Finlay, Ohio; one sister, Beulah Baldwin of Mechanicsburg, Ohio; and 31 grandchildren, two step-grandchildren and several great-grandchildren. Funeral services were held Tuesday, March 25, at Peaceful Valley Church at Cantrells Creek, with John Howard and Paul E. Keaton officiating. Burial was in Castle Family Cemetery at Red Bush, with Paintsville Funeral Home in charge of arrangments.
