"The Washington Post received today contains the following account of a prominent Ogdenite. The marriage of Mr. Homer A. Seip and Alta Z. Coblentz took place Thursday at the home of the bride's mother, Mrs. E. C. Coblentz, 419 G Street, Washington, D. C. NW. The Rev. John R. Shannon of the Metropolitian Methodist Church officiating. Only the immediate family of the bride and a few personal friends of the groom were present. The bride was dressed in white satin and carried a handsome bouquet of roses.

Many valuable and useful presents were received, which attested to the popularity of the couple.

The groom is a Kansas man and for some years was a resident of the District. At present he is employed in the Forestry Department of the Agricultural Department with headquarters in Ogden, Utah. He has also been in the government service in the Philippines.

The daughter who is the daughter of the late E. Frank Coblentz is a member of one of the influential families in western Maryland and has been a resident of the District for some years."

Alta only lived three years after her marriage.
