He was a member of Haven Pentecostal Church. He retired after 30 years from Creasey's Produce Company in Evansville. He was also a U.S. Army veteran and a member of Teamsters Union Local 215.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Clara Mae Groves Davis; his parents, Gabe and Amanda Eaton Davis.
Survivors include three daughters, Greta Sue Keeper and Shelia Schwartz, both of Henderson, and Sarah Holden of Indianapolis, Ind.; one son, Kenneth Earl Davis of Henderson; eight grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Haven Pentecostal Church. The Rev. Willard Clement will officiate. Burial will be at Roselawn Memorial Gardens, with full military rites performed by American Legion Worsham Post No. 40.
Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. today at Rudy-Rowland Funeral Home and after 1 p.m. Wednesday at the church.
Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to St. Anthony's Hospice.
