"Mrs. Mary Jennings, aged 77 years, for many years a resident of Milford, died Tuesday night, March 22, at Unadilla where she had resided several years. She had been in gradually failing health for a long time. She was born in Ohio and resided in several states in the far west before moving to New York state. She was twice married and twice left a widow. Her first husband died many years ago in the West. Her second husband, Oscar Jennings, died in Milford fifteen years ago ... Surviving are a son-in-law, George Collins and four grandsons, Walter, Loren, Robert and Frederick Collins of Unadilla and a daughter-in-law, Mrs. Elizabeth Wahw of Oneonta and several sisters in the west. Funeral services were held March 26 in the Joyce Funeral home at Unadilla. The Rev. Archie Benedict, a former pastor of the Federated church, officiated and burial was made in the cemetery at Westville by the side of her daughter, Mrs. Julia Collins."
