Don Dennis Davis, 72, of Hickory passed away on Sunday December 2, 2012 at Frye Regional Medical Center following a brief illness.
Don was born on December 2, 1940 in Unaka, North Carolina to the late Oscar Rollin and Josie Allen Davis. He was a United States Army Veteran, employed by Russell Rug Company, Drexel Heritage Furniture, and retired as a contract mail carrier. He was a friend to many and will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by one sister Shirley Buff.
A Funeral Service will be held on Thursday December 6, 2012 at 12:00 P.M. in the Chapel of Heritage Funeral Service with the Rev. Doyle Holder officiating. Interment will follow at Philadelphia Baptist Church Cemetery.
