Regina Clark, 86, Stanley, ND, died Sunday, December 2, 2012 in a Stanley nursing home. Her funeral will be Friday, December 7 at 2:00 p.m. at Queen of the Most Holy Rosary Catholic Church, Stanley. Burial will be at Fairview Cemetery, Stanley. Visitation is scheduled for Thursday, December from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. at Springan Funeral Home, Stanley.
Regina Ann (Kuster) Clark was born June 16, 1926 to Louis and Nora (Vadness) Kuster near Stanley. She was raised on the Kuster farm northwest of Stanley. Regina attended high school in Stanley where she was actively involved in band, choir and glee club. After high school, she attended Minot State where she earned her teaching certificate. She taught grades 1-8 in a country school prior to marrying Francis.
Regina married Francis Joseph Clark at Queen of the Most Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Stanley on June 19, 1946. They farmed in the Plaza area where they raised 7 children. While in Plaza, Regina was active in the Homemakers Club, Sacred Heart Ladies Aid, and Plaza School PTA.
In the summer of 1970, Francis, Regina and family moved to a farm southwest of Stanley. They resided there until 1978 when they moved into Stanley. Regina started employment at the Mountrail Bethel Home in the spring of 1977 and continued working until retiring at the age of 79. She resided at the Wilson Apartments until September 29, 2012 when was transferred to the Mountrail Bethel Home.
Regina loved spending time with family, gardening, reading, music and visiting with close friends.
