One of seven children, she was born July 31, 1927, to Herbert C. and Mabel Anderson.
She is predeceased by her husband, Haywood V. Buffaloe, whom she married on Dec. 15, 1945; sons Thomas and Donald Buffaloe; siblings William Anderson, James W. Anderson, Herbert C. Anderson Jr. and Louise Collins.
She is survived by daughter Julia Ann Brawner; son Ronald Buffaloe; and sisters Ruth Willard of Woodbridge and Dolores Gough of Triangle. She was known as "Maw Maw" to her six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
She was a lifelong member of Triangle Baptist Church.
Family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 4, at Triangle Baptist Church, 4345 Inn St., Triangle, where a funeral will be held at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 5. Interment will follow at Quantico National Cemetery.
