He was born about 1750, supposedly in either Germany (Holy Roman Empire) or Holland, Amsterdam, etc. OR either Pennsylvania (probably York County) or Maryland (probably Baltimore County) - he also may have been born on the way over to the U.S.A.

He died in 1805, supposedly in the spring (supposedly March) or August. He is supposed to have been buried in the area of (what is now Hamblen County) Grainger County and Morristown, the location being "Bright's Pass."

Nothing else is known of "Bright's Pass."

"Christian...moved to...Tennessee [locating northeast of Morristown near Liberty Hill Church...], and is buried on the old homestead site on the hill above Bud Wolfe's."
