Death Claims Bert Silvers At Age of 86
Kimberly-Bert Silvers, 86, pioneer Kimberly resident for 55 years, died Sunday morning at Magic Valley Memorial Hospital of a long illiness.
He was born June 16, 1879, at Butler, Mo., and married Edna Brown June 24, 1911, in Twin Falls. He was a member of the Kimberly Nazarene Church.
Surviving, beside his widow, are one son, Bud Silvers, Sweethome, Ore.; three daughters, Mrs. Gib (Mildred) Miller and Mrs. William (Myrtle) Harmaning, both Kimberly, and Mrs. Albert (Margaret) Hills, Jerome: one brother, William Silvers, Kimberly; one sister, Mrs. William Maxwell, Waitsburg, Wash.; his stepmother, Mrs. Ruth Jackson, Kimberly, and 10 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted at 3 p.m. Tuesday at the Kimberly Nazarene Church by the Rev. Vearl Fisher. Final rites will be at Sunset Memorial Park. Friends may call at Whites Mortuary until noon Tuesday.

Bert Silvers is paid last rites-
Kimberly- Funeral Services for Bert Silvers were held Tuesday in the Kimberly Nazarene Church with the Rev. Vearl Fisher officiating.
Kenneth Harmaning and Mrs. Anita Hilty sang a duet accompanied by Mrs. Howard Conrad.
Pallbearers were Bud Silvers, William Silvers, Fred Hill, William Harmaning, Ronald Silvers and Gary Silvers.
Concluding rites were held at Sunset Memorial Park.

1920,1930,1940 Census, Social Security Death record, Draft records for WWI and WW2 also lists him! Some records list him as Bert, William, W.B. and William Birdsell Silvers.
Obituarie says he has a brother William in Kimberly also but believe this is a error as no other William Silvers is found!!
