GOSHEN, Genevieve Crabtree, 99, College Avenue, formerly of Thayer, went to be with the Lord at 12:25 p.m. Saturday at Courtyard Healthcare. She was born Feb. 23, 1913, in Norris City, Ill., to William F. and Bessie Mae (Hensen) Bragg. She married Emerson R. Crabtree Mar. 29, 1941. He died Feb. 3, 1989. Surviving is a daughter, Judy C. (Richard) Biro, Goshen; two grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. Preceding her in death are her husband; parents; two brothers; and two sisters. Genevieve was a homemaker. She was a wonderful cook, a great seamstress, decorator and loved her grandchildren. Visitation will be 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. Tuesday at Rieth-Rohrer-Ehret Funeral Home, Goshen, where the service will follow at 11:30 a.m. Burial will be in Violett Cemetery. Memorials may be directed to Wounded Warrior's.
