Lola (Mingus) Ross, 77, of West Union died Friday, Aug. 29, 2008 at the Adams County Regional Medical Center. She was born Jan. 3, 1931, the daughter of the late John M. and Nancy (Dickson) Mingus, in Adams County.

She was preceded in death by two sons, David Dale Chamblin and Harry Hodge.

She is survived by three daughters, Helen (Terry) Unger, of West Union, Mary (Terry) Stevenson, of Otway and Christi Ross, of West Union; three sons, Charlie (JoAnn) Chamblin, of West Union, Harold Christman, of West Union and Glenn Christman, of Otway; 10 grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
