The newspaper notice of death included with this listing well describes the life of Benjamin Bell. His wife's stone has survived at Eastern Cemetery, but not his. But his grave is very likely near hers (Sarah Bell at B-13-08) since they died within a year of each other and today we find a great deal of open space adjacent to her grave where his stone likely originally was set.
