Wm. Buker Dies at Hospital of Heart Trouble

73 Year Old Woodville Township resident Sucumbs after a Day's Serious Illness; Rites Set Thursday.

William F. H. Buker of Woodville township, 73 years of age, died at the Memorial hospital Tuesday noon, August 8, at 12:45 o'clock. He had been ailing for the last year but was seriously ill only one day and was taken to the hospital as soon as he became ill. Death was caused by a heart ailment.

William F. H. Buker was born in Clayton county, Iowa, on June 24, 1866. He came to this county when a small boy and spent practically all his life here, where he engaged in farming. On April 11, 1880 he was confirmed in the St. Paul's Lutheran church of Meriden. Rev. Kuthe performed the ceremony.

Surviving the deceased are his mother, Mrs. Caroline Buker of this city, and one son, Walter Buker, of Woodville township. Two sisters, Mrs. Mary Lawin of this city and Mrs. J. P. Sommers of Otisco township also survive. His wife and one son, Martin, preceded him in death.

Funeral services will be conducted Thursday afternoon at 1:30 o'clock from the home of his son and at 2:00 o'clock from the St. John's Lutheran church of this city. Rev. Theodore Hennings, pastor, will officiate and interment will be made in the Woodville cemetery
