Wife of E.A.Cunningham Clipper, June 25, 1909: Sarah Jane Simonson was born November 28, 1882 in Rice County Kansas (the daughter of George and Jennie Elder Simonson). She died June 16, 1909 in Hutchinson, Kansas, aged 26 years, 6 months, 18 days. She was converted in her girlhood and joined the Christian Church and lived a faithful life to the time of her death. She married to Edward A. Maxedon, November 26, 1902, when lacking but two days of being 20 years old. Their married life was of short duration, 6 years, 6 months, 20 days, but it was long enough for their hearts to become knit together, for "they twain to be one flesh" and to prove that the union was of God and the injunction "those whom God hath joined together let no man put asunder" was kept, for the union was broken only by Him who has all power and authority and who"doeth all things well" Funeral services were held in the Methodist Church, conducted by the pastor. The interment was in Maud Cemetery.
