Camp Point, Illinois, Nov. 29. Mrs Rosa Tournear, 79, of Camp Point died this morning at 3:20 in Blessing hospital at Quincy where she had been a patient for three days.
Funeral services will be held Saturday afternoon at 2 in the Assembly of God church with the Rev. G. D. Chenowith officiating. Burial will be in the Evergreen Cemetery.
Mrs. Tournear was born at Ripley July 15, 1883, a daughter of James and Alepha Patterson Briscoe. She attended Hazel Bluffs school, was a member of the Assembly of God church and the Ladies Bible class. She was married in 1902 to Charles A. Tournear
Surviving are four daughters, Mrs. Bessie Norris and Mrs. Genevieve Rittenhouse of Camp Point and Mrs. Edna Janssen and Mrs. Ruby Wakefield of Quincy; four sons, Ernest, Raymond and Robert of Camp Point and Jesse of Quincy; 32 grandchildren, and 31 great grandchildren. Preceding her in death were her husband, two children, two brothers and three sisters.
