The ceremony witnessed by Jobe's brothers Jacob Scott and Enos Scott (Enos2). The ceremony was performed by Reverend M Burnham in the St Thomas Church, Elgin, Ontario, Canada.

Dorinda Pierce Hovey Scott (age 63, widowed). Reverend W. Henry performed the ceremony in Fremont, Tuscola, Michigan.
NOTE: Dorinda's first husband was Samuel Benjamin Hovey [Find A Grave Memorial 105427994].
This marriage was witnessed by :
(1) L. Hovey of Fremont, MI (a relative of the bride).
(2) Walter Scott (1847-1884) (a relative of the groom).
Walter Scott was Jobe's nephew and son of Jobe's older brother--Adam Bowman Scott (1812-1872) and Phoebe Armstrong Scott(1825-1903), (Phoebe was the sister of Adama Bowman Scott's first wife Tamson Delilia Armstrong (1815-1844).
Dorinda was the daughter of--
Milton Pierce and Fannie Evans Pierce.
Dorinda was born about 1828 in Ohio. At the time of her marriage to Jobe, Dorinda was a resident of Fremont, Tuscola, Michigan, with occupation of housekeeper.
Also, Dorinda was the mother of Ella Hovey Scott (wife of Jobe's son Hyram/Hiram William Scott; therefore, Ella Hovey Scott was at first Jobe's daughter-in-law, and now with this 2nd marriage of Jobe to Dorinda, Ella Hovey Scott also became Jobe's step-daughter!
