Mrs. Minnick Dies At Hospital
Funeral Services From Linville Creek Church Sunday.
Mrs. Rebecca Anna Minnick, 56, died at the Rockingham Memorial Hospital yesterday evening at 7 o'clock, following an illness of nearly two weeks.
Mrs. Minnick was a victim of tularemea.
Born at Holsinger Springs, east of Broadway, Mrs. Minnick was a daughter of Andrew and Susan Holsinger.
Thirty-two years ago, she married William Minnick and moved near Mayland, where she had lived the remainder of her life. She was a member of the Bethel Church of the Brethren.
Besides her husband, she is survived by the following children: Mrs. Edith Turner, and Mrs. Velnia Kennedy, of near Mayland, Wilbert Minnick, of North River, and Welty, Robert and Rita at home.
Two sisters also survive: Mrs George Wood, of Alkton, and Mrs, Nora Holsinger of near Broadway.
Funeral services will be held from the Linville Creek Churca of the Brethren Sunday afternoon at 2 o'clock, with friends meeting at the late home at 1:30. The Rev. S.D. Lindsey, will officiate, assisted by the Rev. C. E. Nair.
Interment will be in the nearby cemetery.
