∼William Sterling Jones, known as Star Jones,was the son of Jeremiah & Ailsey "Morris" Jones. When he married Susan Milstead in Montauge County, Texas, he had six children from a previous marriage; Thomas, John Ervin, Emmaline Myrtle, Walter S., Jettie Mae & Ada Carlene. Star & Susan were the parents of one daughter, Florence, born October 24, 1892 in Montague County, Texas. Susan Milstead Jones died December 25, 1907 and is buried in the Cruce Cemetery in Stephens County, Oklahoma.
