Mildred is the daughter of Bartholomew "Bart" Newton Millhollon and his wife, Allie Bessie Gilliam. Mildred's father, Bart died at age 37 of tuberculosis. Her mother later married Stephen Bradley Canon.

Letha Lindley (1848-1910), she married her cousin; Letha's father, Samuel P. Lindley and Bart's mother, Sarah, were siblings

Levi Millholland (1819-1872) - he was Captain of a Wagon Train of 175 wagons going from Missouri to California

Sarah Jane Lindley (1823-1859) - she traveled with husband and family on wagon train from Missouri to California, then to Panama and from there, on ship to New York. From New York they went to Hopkins County, Texas.


Samuel Lindley (abt.1808- aft.1880) - married Letha Turner on 29 Dec 1833 at Randolph County, Arkansas. They resided in Hopkins County, Texas (on US Census, 1860, 1870 & 1880 in Hopkins Co., TX)

Letha Turner (abt.1811-aft.1880) - married Samuel Lindley
