Charles L. Adam Passes Away Here At Home Today

Charles L. Adam, Jr., 57, passed away at his home, 906 S. Seventeenth Street, at 4:50 a.m. today.

Mr. Adam was born in Sheboygan March 13, 1878, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Adam, Sr. He was employed at the Garton Toy Company and was a member of Immanuel Sick society and the Garton Mutual Aid society. On Nov. 14, 1901, he was united in marriage to Miss Ida Lamps, who survives with two children; Mrs. Herbert Hartfield of Sheboygan, and Leslie, at home; two grandchildren, Joyce and Vernon Hartfield; two sisters, Mrs. Anna Reinhold of Sheboygan, and Mrs. George Dechent, of Chicago, and two brothers, Edwin and Paul Adam, Sheboygan.

Funeral services will be held Friday at 1"30 p.m. at the Steffen Funeral chapel and at 2 p.m. at Immanuel Lutheran Church. The Rev. Edward Krause will officiate and burial will be made in the family lot on the Lutheran cemetery. The body will lie in state at the Steffen Funeral chapel Wednesday from 3 p.m. until the time of services.
