Ab was born September 29, 1917 in Salt Lake City, Utah, to John and Anna Vollenweider Beutler. He served an LDS mission in Switzerland and was a veteran of World War II. Married Dorothy (Dot) Johnson in Salt Lake LDS Temple April 11, 1946. Wonderful husband, dad, grandpa and friend, Ab enjoyed having family and friends near him. He will always be famous for his creation, the Ab's Fat Boy. Survived by wife, Dot; children, Gary (Beth), Bonnie, Susan (Greg) Stone, Brent (Debbie), Linda (Jeff) Collett, Becky (Lindsay) Lloyd, Bart (Elizabeth), Pat and Laura (Mullaly); sisters, Rachel (John) Cannon, Bernina Kehl; "kid brother", Stan Stevens; special grandchildren, Troop, Kal, Matt, Erica, Jonathan, Alycia, Jamee, Melissa, Anne, Jane, Kate, Emmalee, Addison, Nick, Jorden, Jones and Angela.
Buried at Valley View Memorial Park on January 20, 1999 in a private family service.
