Brad(sic, should be Fred, NOT Brad) "Fritz" Decker, 92, a former Danforth resident, died at 4:05 p.m. Tuesday, June 25, 1985, at St. Mary's Hospital, Kankakee. Mr. Decker lived at Stratford Square Nursing Home in Kankakee at the time of his death.
He was born April 19, 1893, in Danforth, the son of John and Mary Rief (sic) Decker.
Survivors include one sister, Clara Johnson, of Orlando, Fla., and nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by three brothers and two sisters.
Mr. Decker was a farmer and building contractor. He served in the U.S. Army during World War I.
There will be no visitation. Graveside services will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday at Wenger Cemetery in Gilman. Arrangements are being handled by Redenius Funeral Home, Gilman.
