Abelina Romo was born July 18, 1916 in Revuelto. She was reared in Tucumcari. She had been making her home in California since 1958, most recently with her daughter in Roseville. She had been a homemaker and was a member of the Catholic Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband Baltazar Romo; her parents Eduardo Quintana and Josefita Marquez Esquibel; one son Baltazar Romo; two brothers Cecil Quintana and Bennie Quintana and two grandchildren.
She is survived by her daughter, Erlinda Rael of Roseville; two sons, Anthony and George Romo and three brothers, J.F. Quintana, Manuel Quintana and James Marquez.
She is also survived by 23 grandchildren, 32 great-grandchildren and five great-great grandchildren in addition to numerous nieces and nephews.
Services were this morning at 9 a.m. at St. Anne’s Catholic Church. Burial followed the services at Tucumcari Memorial Park Cemetery.
