"Mrs. Addie Rogers Whisenand, age 86, a native of Bloomington, passed away at 11:15 Friday morning at the home of her daughter, Miss Hazel Whisenand, of Indianapolis. Mrs. Whisenand was born in Bloomington, on April 30, 1858, the daughter of James and Rebecca Pullen Rogers, who were born in Bloomington. In March of 1885, she was married to George W. Whisenand, who preceded her in death seven years ago. In March of 1935, the couple celebrated their fiftieth wedding anniversary. Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Joe Clark of 1002 North College Avenue and Miss Hazel Whisenand of Indianapolis and one neice [sic], Mrs. Lola Estuck of Plymouth, Ind. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 o'clock Monday morning in the Day Chapel with the Rev. Merrill B. McFall officiating. Music will be in charge of Mrs. Leslie Peters and Mrs. Noble Henderson. Interment will be in Rose Hill. Pallbearers will be Robert Skirvin, Thomas Whisenand, Walter Brashaber, Ralph Goodman, Homer Parks and Fred Parks."
