The Victims of the Cyclone.
E. DeMoss, the barber who was burned to death, was a young man of about twenty-five years of age who came to Chandler from St. Louis a few months ago. He was of a genial, pleasant disposition, and had already made a host of friends in his new home. He seemed to be exceptionally free from bad habits and was industrious and very attentive to business. Even though he had been here but a short time, there is not a person who had met him, but has a kindly remembrance of him and shares in the deep regret of the early ending of so promising a life and the unfortunate manner of his death. He had no family, but his father and mother are living in this county. His reason for locating in Chandler was that he might be near them, and their grief at his death may well be imagined.
