Obituary - Leola Knudsen Clarke, age 77, died February 11, 1994 in Tooele, Utah.

Born November 3, 1916 in Provo, Utah to Reed Jacob and Mary Ellen Richardson Knudsen. Married Joseph Marshall Clarke March 1, 1943 in the Salt Lake Temple. He died November 7, 1985.

Active member of the LDS Church, she served in many different positions. Graduate of BYU, she was a school teacher, she taught mainly in the Dugway Schools. She was an accomplished quilter and enjoyed handiwork.

Survivors: daughters, Maxine Clarke, Tooele; Mrs. Sherman Douglas (Marcia) Greenwood, Port Orchard, Washington; sons: Shirl and his wife, Sharee, Salt Lake City; Duane and his wife, Barbara, Sandy, Utah; eight grandchildren; brother, Lynn Knudsen, Provo. Preceded in death by a brother, Ronald Knudsen, two sisters, Naomi Ashworth and Donna Knudsen.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, February 14, 1994 at 1 p.m. in the Tooele 17th LDS Ward Chapel in Pine Canyon. Friends may call at Tate Mortuary, 110 So. Main St., Tooele on Sunday from 6-8 p.m. and from 11:30 till 12:30 on Monday at the Mortuary. Interment Tooele City Cemetery.
