Anne attended Townsend Female Seminary, majoring in instrumental music and drawing/painting. She was listed in the Seminary's catalog's in the years 1848, 49, 50, 51 on pgs. 5, 6, 6, 9 respectively, and in 1851, she was listed as VP of the Literary and Education Society. Her father, Joseph Raymond, was listed as a trustee for the years 1850, 51, 52 - pgs. 2, 3, 3 respectively.

On 14 Aug 1860, Anne became the third wife of Jonathan Low Choate; they had two children together, only Charles reached adulthood.
