Oddlene was born May 3, 1924 in Alba, Missouri, the daughter of Alma A Nicolay and Olive (Markley) Nicolay.
She was the ninth born of eleven children.
She was married to Elmer F. Gordinier, Jr. on May 14, 1941, in Topeka. He preceeded her in death.
Other survivors include 3 daughters, Edna (Jim) Chance of Topeka, Linda (Dick) Lewis of Florida and Peggy (Marc) Lewis of Olathe; three sons, Robert E. (Jan) Gordinier of California, Richard E. (Peggy A.) Gordinier of Topeka, Dennis A. (Marilee) Gordinier of Ozawkie; 18 grandchildren, 43 great grandchildren, 2 sisters, Melba Goodwin and Betty Spinelli. Oddlene was a woman of strong personal faith in Jesus Christ. She was a model of faithfulness, resolve and perseverance!
Burial will be at the Topeka Cemetery.
