Carrie Tucker Ahrens, 81, died Saturday (Feb. 14, 1981) at Morningside Manor nursing home, Alcester.
Services were held at 2 p.m. Monday at the United Church of Christ in Alcester. The Rev. Rodger Kube officiated. Burial was in Pleasant Hill cemetery in Alcester under the direction of the Wass Funeral Home.
Mrs. Ahrens, the former Carrie Finn, was born April 5, 1899 in Alcester and spent her entire life here. She was married to Clarence Tucker Sept. 1, 1920 in Alcester. He died in 1954. She was married to Herman Ahrens Aug. 15, 1963 in Alcester. He died in 1973. She entered the nursing home in 1977.
Survivors include three sons, Kenneth and Howard Tucker, both of Alcester and Bruce Tucker of Sacramento, Calif.; one sister, Mrs. Eva Newberg of Alcester; nine grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
